Decades of experience in all facets of hotel management has shaped our executive team, allowing us to properly understand and professionally manage every aspect of hotel operations and the hard-working people who make the magic happen.
The deep knowledge and dynamic skills of our core team ensure we exceed every expectation for clients. For us, maximizing profits comes through motivation, maintaining high standards, and managing each hotel’s performance through authentic connections and relationship building at all levels.
Jerry’s overarching responsibility includes the leadership of all of Desert Hospitality Management’s hotel assets, including operations, new development, acquisitions, repositioning, dispositions, renovations, and asset management.
Jerry has extensive experience in full-service and select-service nationally branded hotels, new-build construction, property repositioning, and full renovations and leads the DHM team’s current portfolio of eight nationally branded hotels – more than 1,300 rooms – throughout the Tucson Metropolitan Area, including one of the most iconic resorts in the Southwest, the famous El Conquistador, a Hilton Resort.
Prior to joining Desert Hospitality Management in 2011, Jerry was a graduate of Northern Arizona University and worked his way up through Marriott International’s leadership track as both a General Manager and eventually Regional Vice President.
Residing in Tucson, Arizona with his wife Paula and daughter Alexa, Jerry is active in the local community as a proud member of the Tucson Conquistadores and The First Tee of Tucson, among other charitable organizations. He also sits on the Board of Directors for the Arizona Chamber of Commerce and is the current Chairman of the Arizona Lodging and Tourism Association and a member of its Executive Committee.
As the Chief Operating Officer for Desert Hospitality Management, Ghee’s extensive experience and unmatched hospitality training provides organizational oversight and operational expertise to the team.
Prior to joining Desert Hospitality Management, Ghee spent almost three decades in the hospitality industry in various operations and a variety of sales roles, most recently as the SVP of Operations at Prism Hotels and Resorts and Aimbridge Hospitality.
At the age of 18 Ghee was elected the Head of the Student Body at the Lawrence School, Lovedale – a military high school in India. After graduating, he started his incredible hospitality career as a banquet server and quickly rose up the ranks to become a General Manager with Lodgian Hotels at the age of 26. There, Ghee built a reputation as a trusted employee and turn-around specialist, skilled at turning underperforming hotels into some of the most successful in their portfolio.
Ghee is one of the most respected leaders in the hospitality industry and has been recognized as “GM of the Year” multiple times in his career – the hotels he’s managed having won several awards and accolades thanks to his attitude and acumen.
Ghee and his wife Heidi are empty nesters and looking forward to enjoying time together in Tucson, Arizona riding road bikes, painting, and traveling.
With more than 20 years of extensive sales and marketing experience, in pre-opening, conversions, and operating hotels, Beth is a valuable asset and an integral member of DHM’s corporate team.
Prior to joining our talented team as Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing, Beth was the VP of Sales for Prism Hotels & Resorts, an award-winning full-service hotel management, investment, and advisory services company where she primarily focused on overseeing a portfolio of long term hotel assets.
Beth graduated from Texas Christian University in 2001 with a degree in broadcast communications. Go Frogs! She soon began her hospitality career in sales with Marriott International and spent four years with their on-property sales team, then seven years with Texas Western Hospitality in sales at both the property level and above property support.
Two decades in hospitality has allowed Beth to become one of the most knowledgeable and well respected salespeople in the industry, having led sales efforts for several prominent hotel brands including Marriott, Hyatt, IHG, and Hilton. With Beth leading the sales efforts of our hotel management team, we are excited to achieve new heights in the hospitality industry.
Paul brings more than 20 years of hospitality industry education and experience to Desert Hospitality Management’s burgeoning hotel support team, including valuable perspective gained working in both operations and finance roles for a variety of globally-known hospitality brands.
As the CFO for Desert Hospitality Management, Paul oversees the accounting, financial operations, and analytics for our diversified portfolio of hotel properties. Prior to joining DHM, Paul held a similar role with Prism Hotels & Resorts for over 10 years before joining Aimbridge Hospitality at the beginning of 2022 as part of the Prism acquisition. Prior to joining Prism, Paul worked in various operations and accounting roles for Waterford Hotel Group in Connecticut.
Paul earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the University of Colorado in Boulder, Colorado, and then acquired his MBA from Post University in Waterbury, Connecticut. Additionally, Paul has obtained the Certification in Hotel Industry Analytics (CHIA) designation.
He currently resides in Plano, TX with his beautiful wife and two active daughters. When not poring over the portfolio’s numbers, Paul enjoys playing golf, tennis, and spending time with his family.
Kimberlee has over two decades of experience in almost all aspects of the hospitality industry, the majority of her time spent in Human Resource Management, Training and Benefits.
Prior to joining Desert Hospitality Management in December 2022, Kimberlee served as the Vice President of Human Resources with Prism Hotels & Resorts. Previous to that she was in an Area HR role with Carlson Hotels and has also served as the HR Director with Radisson Hotels in the Dallas and Seattle area.
As an employee-centric company focused on the people behind the properties, we are lucky to welcome Kimberlee and her wonderful attitude and wealth of experience in employee/union relations, accrual management, payroll and hotel operations.
Morgen brings 20+ years of hospitality experience, strategic leadership and support to the Revenue team of Desert Hospitality Management’s growing portfolio of hotels, overseeing the drive to deliver increased revenues and profits in the face of rapidly changing and evolving markets.
Before joining Desert Hospitality, Morgen spent 22 years in Revenue Optimization for Loews Hotels, as well as for Prism Hotels and Resorts, most recently as Regional Director of Revenue Optimization for Prism.
Morgen graduated from the University of Arizona with a degree in French Literature and a minor in accounting (Bear Down!) and currently lives in Tucson with her two teenage sons.
Winner of several accolades including Prism’s “President’s Award” as well as “Revenue Optimizer of the Year”, Morgen now applies her unique industry knowledge and unmatched market experience to our talented hotel support team, ensuring we remain nimble as we take DHM to the next level.
